DIE CAST METAL TOOTSIE TOY AIRPLANES NECKLACE COSTUME JEWELRY OVER 36 PLANES

This is a necklace composed of over three dozen hand-painted Tootsie Toy airplanes. The toys are vintage and the necklace itself is semi vintage, dating from about 1990. The artist hand-painted each airplane in either black or white with opposite polkadots. They are strung on black string.The necklace ties In the back. One airplane is on the end of the black string. The other side of the black string is a little frayed. This artist was very popular in Chicago in the late 80s and early 90s, supposedly. This is a very unique piece of costume jewelry, and provides a wealth of Tootsie Toy vintage airplanes. Great for Tootsie Toy collectors, lady pilots, flight attendants, and people who wear something other than plain jewelry. It’s plane jewelry.
