Description
From the sellerStunning and rare ABP brilliant cut glass basket by David Walsh, Somerville, Massachusetts. The basket features a twist rope handle. It is cut with an alternating hobstar and whirling hobstar design with notched fans. David Walsh cut stunning glassware for many of the finest shops in the US, including Tiffany. In 1905 he began cutting these baskets from blanks supplied by the Union Glassworks. Many have slight differences, due to the fact each was custom cut to order. The basket measures 5 1/2" high and 8 1/2" in diameter.
