From the sellerAntique Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) membership pen/pendant/brooch. Signed Caldwell 8.22.81 Patent. Engraving on pin traces membership to Emma Sawyer Newell, number 58233, descendant of James Slack. Unsure of metal or gold content, there are no stamps aside from maker’s marks and engravings. I’ve seen similar ones that are 14K but unstamped, others that are gold-filled and stamped, etc. Please bid accordingly, I’ll let more knowledgeable bidders determine.
