Cyclometer (Rolling Wheel) Upcycled? Clock -Unbranded, Possible Custom Built?

Curious, unbranded (vintage upcycled?) cyclometer (rolling wheel) clock. The case looks very vintage, and nicely made, actually. The handle on top is functional- that is, you can safely carry the clock by this handle if you needed to). I’ve never opened it up but it looks similar to other rolling wheel clocks from the 1960s. The motor makes a noise but the clock works. In the video you can hear the sound, that for some reason ceases when the clock is on its side. Because I cannot guarantee the function of this clock it is being sold “as is” for parts or restoration. Maybe you can figure out its history. It’s a mystery to me.
