From the sellerThis antique advertising letter opener is made of copper and features a unique design promoting the Ohio State University in Columbus. The date is 1870, but I'm assuming that's when OSU was founded. It's a mighty little piece at just 4.50" long. The vintage piece adds a touch of history and charm to any desk or collection. The beautiful & ornate etching is eye-catching, as is the pyramid and the owl on top of a globe!. There are scratches on it from decades of use!
