Description
From the sellerCurtis Strange was being honored as the Weyerhaeuser Company sponsored the Shrine Golf Classic. It was held at the Emerald Golf Club in New Bern, N.C. on September 11, 2000. The Shriners donate the money raised for children needing medical attention. The envelope measures 9 1/2" x 4". The 33 cent stamp is the first day of issue and the stamp depicts children who will benefit from the PGA tournament. There is a facsimile autograph of Curtis Strange that is to the left of the stamp.
