Original early civil war double rein artillery curb bit in good condition.Original brass sheathing in tact.Nice Patina,Brass has not Cleaned.Maker marked on the inside branches on both sides.Also U.S. stamped on both inside branches.Slobber bar is present.One of the brass U.S.A. entwined roettes is missing which was a common problem with the soldered on rosettes.A second identical parts bit is included that has both USA entwined Rosettes intact.They can be easily removed and soldered back on to the good bit.
