The housewife includes a "stork" head scissors, 3 small wooden sticks with about 2 yards of thread (brown, black & white or blue, black and white), bone, pewter, tin backed, and large button(Your choice of CSA, plain brass, Block "I" or Block "A" Block "C" or Federal Eagle), 3 sewing needles, 4 straight pins, 3 pieces (jean cloth, gray wool or sky blue, dark blue and red) and several pieces of cotton fabric for use as patching material.
