From the sellerChinese famille-rose decorated with predominantly pink coloured enamel, made from colloidal gold, which was first used in the late Kangxi period. In the early eighteenth century, Chinese famille-rose was sometimes referred to as 'fencai', meaning foreign color. Shape: Fan-shaped with scalloped edges. Material: Porcelain with a glossy finish. Decoration: Features a central floral design with butterflies, surrounded by a blue border with gold accents, characteristic of the Famille Rose style. Style Origin: Famille Rose porcelain became popular around 1820 and was often made for European and American markets. Possible uses: Storing jewelry, small items, or as a decorative piece.
