This is what I believe to be a Rookie contract for Richard Burton Marlowe as this was signed on September 13th, 1951 and he made his MLB DEBUT on September 19th, 1951. It is not signed by Mr. Marlowe but is signed by Ray L. Kennedy- minor league director and Charles Gehringer- Vice President & General Manager. There is also another copy stapled to this which says copy for Ray Kennedy which is not signed.
