Description
From the sellerThis is a lovely earlier work by American Artist Charles Nivens. Purchaser recorded his name (left off the "s" of his last name), date purchased, and where. Lombard, IL Art Fair 1976. Researching the artist I found out until his death 5 years ago, Charles lived in Virginia and his work was displayed at a gallery there. I emailed the gallery to authenticate this painting , which was accomplished . The photos include screenshots of the galleries response by email, and other examples of Niven's work. The painting is 11x14, the frame it came in is 14x16".
