For auction is a vintage mug made for Charles L. Sommers Lodge, marked 50th anniversary. The artwork is by artist, writer, wilderness enthusiast and canoe fitter "Jackpine Bob" , Bob Cary, of Ely MN. (1921-2006) I'm not sure of the age of this piece. I haven't seen another just like it. I've seen others that mention the lodge being a wilderness Canoe Base for the Boy Scouts of America. It is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. Heavy and well made. 3" diameter at the top, 3.75" tall. Thanks for viewing!
