Offered for auction is this invitation 1864 - 1964: Governor and Mrs. Grant Sawyer for a Centennial Costume Grand Ball held at the National Guard Armory in Carson City, Nevada on the 30th of October. Governor Sawyer was the 21st governor of Nevada. This invitation is in very nice, clean condition as is it's envelope / cover. The inside of the invitation is blank. The cover flap has a few scattered minor bends. Between the dates of 1864 and 1964 (at the top of the invite) it has an embossed seal of the State of Nevada. It measures: 7.5" x 5.25".
