From the sellerCard, collectible, TOM BOWLING, Racehorse, reprint of original lithograph by Currier & Ives, Kentucky, 1881. Nicknamed "The Wild Horse", Tom Bowling was an exciting, eccentric & "wild" racehorse, bred and owned by Kentucky gambler H.P. McGrath & trained by Hall of Famer Ansel Williamson, an African-American trainer. Tom had over 14 wins in his 4 year career. Currier & Ives original prints of Tom Bowling are currently in the collections of The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. The card measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/4". It has very light wear along edges & corners. Domestic buyer pays $5.50 S&H.
