I'd have to say it's the oldest pit I've dug in that city. All of the bottles recovered dated from the late 1840s to early 1850s. Other early sodas recovered in this 25' deep cylindrical privy were Tupper & Southwick, NY, another Gatchell, Dr. Brown's soda, and several sided cobalt Boardman NY sodas.
