Byron Nelson was a contemporary of Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Skip Alexander, and Cary Middlecoff. Byron Nelson holds the record for consecutive wins on the PGA Tour and quit competing at a young age. His swing was so good, that when they developed a machine to swing clubs they named it The Iron Byron!
