Up for sale is a rare, beautifully preserved vintage Eastern Orthodox Liturgical Bread Stamp (also known as a Prosphora Seal, Sphragida, or Prosphoron). Crafted from heavy solid brass/bronze with a deeply engraved dark matrix face plate, this religious collectible was traditionally used to press sacred symbols into holy altar bread before baking for the Divine Liturgy.The main seal features the prominent cross with the sacred Christogram "IC XC NI KA" (Jesus Christ Conquers), alongside the traditional liturgical configurations for the commemoration of the Virgin Mary, Saints, and the faithful.
