Black Cast Iron Detecto New York Beam Balance Scale 2 E 8 A Mark with 2 lb. Wt.

Don’t know if this is an older or newer model of the similar ones seen with the markings on the center base of scale, still in fantastic condition. Looks like original single coat of black paint and brass weight beam. Only mark I could find other than make and city was 2 E 8 A stamped in one end of scale. Last 2 pics show threaded on 9” dia. plates removed with the larger cast iron right cup holding numerous steel beads for balancing scale which looks to have perfect balance.
