This is a BellSouth Model 2290 FRS GMRS transceiver, a two-way portable radio suitable for radio communication. It is a consumer electronics device used for walkie talkies and two-way radios. They do work but the rubber for the antennas are loose and need to be glued and one of them is missing a clip that holds the battery cover on.
