Listed is a BEAUTIFUL Vintage Embossed Fayette R PLUMB Anchor Brand Autograph Single Bit Axe This axe comes from my personal collection and was cleaned, sharpened and rehung before I acquired it. There is no rust but you can see that there was some pitting previously. The mark is still very nice and the edge is sharp. The head is securely hung on a nice hickory handle. Please see photos for overall condition. This is a beautiful example of American tool history and would be an excellent addition to anyone’s collection. It’s also a tool meant to be used.
