Truly astounding Victorian Santa on a terra cotta horse with what looks Locke a thin leather saddle. 99% sure it’s German. Santa is composition, horse is clay. Nice weight to it. It stands with a slight boost. All original beauty that is missing nothing but may have a tiny shrinkage mark on one rear leg but not broken through as I believe it has wire leg support. This is rare! It’s special. One very similar to this sold at a mid Atlantic auction for an amazing one like this and realized $18,000 gross. Seems high but hey, it’s Santa! It’s a prize.
