From the seller
This is the last type of steam locomotive gauge made by Ashcroft. Shows little if any use and has been recalibrated for accuracy. Front diameter is 7 3/8 and the rear rim measures a little over 8 1/2 inches. It is a heavy solid brass gauge with only a few use or storage marks. This one is ready to display or use. I'll be glad to answer questions. Solid brass construction is rare in this model and 1146 300 psi gauges are rare as well. These gauges were made up to 1955.
