THIS IS AN EXQUISITE ART DECO - EDWARDIAN PAIR OF CUFF LINKS IN 18K GOLD WITH STUNNING FACETED CENTRAL RUBIES WITH MOTHER OF PEARL CENTERS FROM FRANCE WITH THE FRENCH EAGLES HEAD MARK DATING TO C1870-1920. Formal wear does NOT get any more stylish and elegant than this superb set of cuff links. They are made of 18K Gold with superb faceted natural mined ruby centers. The rubies are surrounded by a mother of pearl surround. They look perfect and exquisite! The gold work is so elegant with an engraved braided repousse border. The faceted rubies are very fine red rubies with gorgeous color and fire! The combination of the gold, engraved designs, the mother of pearl and the rubies is just mesmerizing. These date to c1870-1920. They are hallmarked with a beautiful hallmark of the French Eagles' head for 18K gold and "Depose.
