From the sellerThe part that holds the food to be ground up is straight sided and attached (soldered?). to the perforated bottom, unlike later models where the body is all one piece and has slanted sides. The handle is held in place by a screw with a spring and scraper wire attached which clears the ground food from the bottom of the grater.
