Victorian era parlor decor at its best. This oval wooden frame with gesso applied black forest style acorns berries and leaves has a wood grained applied satin finish surrounding an inner ornate gilt band of scrolls and flowers. It has its original glass replete with bubbles. The measurements are 14 1/2" x 12 1/4" and a rear loading rectangle entry of 10" x 8". The pictures are the best description of condition which has some scrapes, scuffs and a few tiny chips in the frame. Generally speaking its in very good condition for its age which is probably 1890s.
