This one of a kind rare sterling silver locket was made in England in the late 1800s. It features a Shield shape and etched bird and plant design on the front. The stamps on the back are "H W", "f", an anchor and left facing lion. This locket measures 1 1/4" x 3/4" and features a nice locking clasp for adding to a necklace. This is a beautiful piece and truly one of a kind and rare because of the shield shape with the bird etched detail.
