This is the 1931 original printing of THE STORY OF LITTLE BLACK SAMBO by Helen Bannerman. This book is nearly 100 years old, and some damage is to be expected. All pages are tight and all text and illustrations are very clear. It appears that the child who originally owned this book was fascinated with the illustrations and tried copying and tracing and outlining them, mostly with a colored pencil. They probably could be erased, but it does add character to the book, showing how a child from long ago enjoyed this classic story. I wrap carefully and ship immediately.
