This sterling silver (tested) thimble was made for the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1892-93. It was made by Simons Bros. of Philadelphia though it isn't marked (this thimble never is). "World's Colombian Exposition 1892" is around the textured band and the size (11) is stamped there.
