Description
From the sellerThis antique serving fork was produced by Shreve, Crump & Low. Alternately referred to as a "buffet fork", "asparagus fork" or "salad serving fork", it measures 9 1/8", and weighs 97g. Shreve, Crumb & Lowe is a Boston business, and is the oldest purveyor of luxury goods in North America. It was founded in 1796, and is still in business to the present day. This piece accompanied an ecclectic grouping of silver, that I was told was purchased in the 1920s.
