Franz Hanfstaengl (1804-1877) was a Bavarian artist who specialized in lithography The art has not been examined out of the frame. The outside measurements are 20 1/2" x 17". Someone spent a great deal of money framing this piece with the recessed image, gold color surround, and complimentary wood frame.
