From the sellerThis remarkable rare fan is an authentic Westinghouse "Micarta" blade pedestal fan, likely dating from the mid-to-late 1930s. While the blades look and feel like finished wood, they are actually made of Micarta, a revolutionary industrial laminate developed by Westinghouse in the early 20th century. Industrial factory or military use seemed to be where they were mostly located. From the floor to the top of the fan, it measures 6 feet. The diameter of the fan is 18 inches. The cord does have some cracks in it. See photos. Good working condition
