From the sellerThis early type predates the more common enclosed "plantsa de uling" and was in household use during the mid-19th to early 20th century (ca. 1850–1910s). Unlike later designs, the "plantsa de corona" features an open tray/bowl for live charcoal embers, with heat rising directly to warm the ironing surface.
