This antique ovoid stoneware jug is marked "Armstrong & Wentworth, Norwich". Stoneware jugs stamped "Armstrong & Wentworth Norwich" were produced by Peleg Armstrong and Erastus Wentworth who operated a highly regarded pottery in Norwich, Connecticut, between 1814 and 1834.
