THIS IS A SUPERB EARLY ANTIQUE NORWEGIAN OR SWEDISH SCANDINAVIAN GREEN PAINTED TINE BENTWOOD SVEPASK BOX OF GREAT BEAUTY WITH FLOWER AND BOW DESIGNS. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SIZE WITH WONDERFUL GREEN PAINTING AND LOVELY STITCHING ON THE BOX. IT IS HEAVY BENTWOOD BOX. THE INTERIOR HAS A MUSTARD YELLOW - BROWN COLOR PAINT WASH. THESE ANTIQUE SCANDINAVIAN TINE BOXES ARE BECOMING VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND. THIS IS AN EARLY BOX DATING TO CIRCA 1800-1880! The top of the box is 6 3/4 inches long by 4 3/4 inches wide. The box is 3 inches tall. The green flower paint is most likely later than the early wooden box. Please look at the photos for the condition.
