Antique Large Primitive American Stenciled Peat Bucket

Antique Large Stenciled Primitive American Wooden Peat Bucket with Metal Bands, Wooden Handles. Bucket is in good structural shape. This bucket was designed to sit by the fireplace to hold peat or coal. Peat buckets were used to haul fuel from room to room. As seen in pictures it looks like someone has put some screws in part of the metal band at top of bucket. The bucket is 9 3/4” tall by 15 1/2” round at top of bucket and 13” round at bottom of bucket. The stenciling is in good shape. The metal bands are gold in color. Wooden handles are in good shape.
