Description

From the seller
These decorative Calender tiles were made by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons in England and sold by Jones McDuffie & Stratton pottery merchants in Boston, Massachusetts. This series of tiles was produced from 1897 to 1929 and were sold as decorative souvenir pieces at featured landmarks and historical locations around the country. This one in particular is from 1907 and features the Harvard Stadium, which was built in 1903. This one is in decent shape. There is one chip in the surface of the bottom left corner of the obverse. Only other issues is some crazing of the surface coating that comes with age.
