Description
From the sellerThis porcelain cobalt flow blue set has traditional detailing of Japanese motifs. Lithophane was first created in the Kutani region of Japan in the 1800s until the 1950s. When held to the light, a Geisha is revealed at the bottom of the cup showing detail and clarity in the etched artwork in the translucent porcelain. The cup has a diameter of 1.75" and a height of 1.875". The saucer has a diameter of 4". No fleabites, chips or cracks.
