Description
From the sellerA beautiful Hirado koro (incense burner), featuring a hand-painted design in rich cobalt blue. Dates to the c.1870-90s era (Meiji Period); fresh from an excellent local estate collection. Skillfully potted from sturdy white porcelain with delicate brushwork, delightful cabbage leaf feet & outstanding craftsmanship throughout. Measures approximately 4 1/2" in diameter by 3 3/8" high. The koro is in good to very good condition for its age. Carefully stored & treasured by the previous owner; clean & ready for use or display.
