Antique Hand-Pieced Quilt c. 1898

This beautiful heirloom quilt came with a handwritten family note stating it was pieced together in 1898. The original handwritten note will be included with the quilt, adding a wonderful piece of its history and provenance. Measuring approximately 88” × 88”, this stunning quilt features intricate hand appliqué and fine hand quilting throughout. It's been machine quilted at a later unknown date. For being over 125 years old, it is in remarkable condition. There is one large faded stain (pictured), and a few smaller spots elsewhere, along with some bleeding of the fabric, but otherwise it has been wonderfully preserved.
