From the seller
Based on the estate collection this gnome came from, I'm pretty certain this is of German origin. It's very similar to store displays made by Maresch, however this example is metal (not steel). The gnome is holding two bottles that could be champagne, wine, or possibly beer. He's 20.5" tall x 11" wide at his elbows x ~ 5.5" deep. There is no apparent damage, and the paint appears to be all original. Very nice piece of early 20th century advertising! See photos for appraisal, and feel free to ask questions.
