This is a nice looking early 20thC German Troopers sword featuring a ricasso marked: Alex Coppel Solingen. Overall displays very well with some old tape on both ends of the grip and guard. The handle is very slightly loose from an old handle repair though it is not overly loose, just obvious something has been done. Otherwise a gorgeous sword and scabbard. Estate fresh and ready for your collection. Overall length of the sword ( not the scabbard): 38 1/4" with a 33" blade.
