Antique Fiesta Appetizer Plate Old Ivory 6 3/8” . One Of The Original Colors

Genuine Fiesta Old Ivory appetizer plate. This color was produced between 1936-1951. Some clues to verify the date are on the ink stamp such as the lower case fiesta with no loop on the f, the word “genuine” and the lack of “lead free”. Other clues are the “wet foot” which means the the entire bottom is glazed. Since the bottom is all glazed “pins” were used to hold the plate up during the firing process and there are “pin marks” present on the bottom. The size is slightly larger and the weight is less than newer appetizer plates in the same color. This plate is in remarkable condition for its age, it is hard to find any wear at all. No chips, cracks and barely any visible wear, if any. From a smoke free home. Thanks!
