Antique Delta Pi Epsilon Sorority Pin Master Hob by Herff Jones Greek

From what we found this is a Master Hob used in manufacturing the metal stamping dies used to produce Delta Pi Epsilon Sorority Pins. The dating it to the 1960's came when researching the "JJH " on the reverse. This is one of the marks for " Herff Jones Greek " which is one of the largest official manufacturers of Sorority and Fraternity Greek jewelry graduation items since being founded in 1920's. Delta Pi Epsilon was founded at NYU in 1917 and is one of the first Non-Sectarian Social Sororities. The piece feels like it may be a stone carved item. It is one inch tall and 7/8 of an inch wide.
