Antique clay pot origin unknown

Tripod pot of unknown origins Pot was bought at thrift store ca. 1970, in Chicago, no receipt, no documentation. 5 1/4" tall (13cm) and 7" (17cm) from edge of loop handle to the other. Tripod feet and beige or cream buff slip with brown lilly like vine and hatched "necklace" around the mouth. Splash of old silver paint on one side. Showed it years ago to Paul Martin (Field Museum) and he didn't know where it was made.
