From the sellerReally cool pirate bookends. 1900s cast iron cold painted with a bronze finish. They are small 4in high and 3.5in wide but they are very heavy and could support many books. They are from the turn of the century and have detailed craftsmanship showcasing a pirate or a swashbuckler in a heroic pose with his sword and cape. These are quite rare. No markings that I found so I don’t know the origin but they could be Hubley probably made in New York
