Antique Carved Arts & Crafts Gilt Wooden Frame & Print of Venice Original Glass.

This is a lovely example of an Arts and Crafts frame with rubbed gold finish and original glass. The print inside is faded by time, still charming but the frame is sturdy. It has some missing finish in places. Scrapes and dings. The label on the back tells the story of its beginnings in The Maze Dept. store in Petaluma California owned by H.S. Gutermute which opened in 1905. So I am not sure of the date of production but somewhere in the first couple decades of the 20th century. You can zoom in on the photos to help with description. It measures 9.5" x 11.75" and about 1.25" deep. It has a back loading dimension of 6" x 7.75". Please feel free to ask questions.
