Antique Bronze Yacht Signal Cannon By R H Brown 10GA,Prior to Winchester

This is a very nice RH Brown cannon. Lavigne Breech 1890, 10 ga. These cannons were advertised as a safer signal cannon when they were introduced. The firing pin isn't spring loaded like other cannons of it's time. So no chance of accidently firing. Just a good snap of your wrist and BOOM!!! As you can see it has an aftermarket carriage. It's all solid oak and nice hardware so it looks almost like a peice of art or furniture that functions as a very nice cannon that goes BOOM!!! A great way to celabrate this years 250th 4th.
