From the seller
This is a gorgeous, 19th century patinated bronze of the original “Nymph Descending to the Bath” by Rococo artist Etienne Falconet, 1757, which is currently in the Louvre. It is commonly known as “La Baigneuse” or “The Bather”. This is a high quality bronze casting with beautiful detail. The 1260 at the base is probably the model number, which was common on the castings of European foundries at the time. 16” Tall.
