Antique British Silverplate Figural Single Plow Salt/Pepper Caddy Circa 1850

Offered is a wonderful whimsical Victorian salt and pepper caddy. This sliverplate caddy is in the shape of a single bottom plow. It retains it's glass with silverplate top canisters, one being peirced for pepper and the other hinged for the salt. This silverplate is fair with some loss. There is a third wheel under the plow, which is missing a spoke. The other wheels are fully functional. The silver marks indicate a British Registry date of June 23, 1850. This would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
