i believe it is a marine engine, angled base and reversable valve train.very finely crafted engine.brass construction. I have not run it ,all features operate.the valve cam is stiff but crank operates fully.no damage found other than a few dents and scratches. the closest match is a bottle frame engine at the Smithsonian.pic included. no marking found.many pics.the pressure gauge appears th be an operating gauge.complete engine,2 boilers included.salesman sample or patent model .very finely crafted.all the spigots on the boilers operate ,all valves function. .
